Glory From Sports

     In sports most athletes attempt to give their glory to God. Some Christians and some sports fans frown upon this and do not like the athletes who do this. They feel that the athletes are fake and do this to look good. An athlete who is famous for living life as a good Christian nut is interpreted as a fake sometimes is Tim Tebow. I bring this up because tonight my favorite college basketball player, Peyton Siva, thanked God in his interview and even though I don't know if it's fake or not I liked it. I liked it because we as humans are called to give all the glory to God and by thanking God in an interview or praying after a touchdown you set an example. Kids who look up to these athletes will learn to give all of their glory to God. As a human we are called to give all the glory to God, so we should follow in the footsteps of those who we look up to but also set an example for those who look up to us.
