Profanity

Words can be good or bad. They can be said to help someone or to hurt someone. Many of the things we say, we don’t think about them before they come out of our mouths. And sometimes, we don’t think about the words that have just come out of our mouths. Profanity, however, are words that should be used with caution if they are to be used at all. I would recommend that you never say any profane word. Besides not being appropriate in almost all settings, profanity does not add anything positive to a conversation.
The words that fall under the category of “profanity” are not appropriate for this blog, but we all know what they are. Profane words hurt the ears of God, especially if you used the Lord’s name in a cuss word. That’s how I keep myself from using bad words: I think about how God feels when I use those words, that I am bending his ear every time I cuss or use the Lord’s name in vain. I think that is a good thing for everyone to think about when they are about to say a bad word. Ask yourself if you really want to hurt God’s ear before you say your next swear word.

The Family as a Domestic Church

The family is a Domestic Church according to Pope Paul VI. The family has gained the important and well deserved name of the Domestic Church. This name means that every Christian family should have all the aspects of the Church, Such as the Father which in the Church is God. This also means that the house of a family should be like Church in the way that it transmits the gospel and spreads the Church throughout.
In a family that strives for the completion of this task all the members of the family are called to evangelize and are evangelized. The parents are supposed to communicate the gospel with their children. The children also can extend the same Gospel to the parents and they can receive it as it is deeply lived by them.
Then that family can go onto evangelize and become the evangelizer of many different families and the neighborhood that the families build up. Also, families that come from a mixed marriage have the duty of proclaiming Christ to the children. These children are to receive the consequences of a common Baptism which is that they have the task of becoming builders of unity.

Ministerial Priesthood v. Common Priesthood

Those people who are baptized by regeneration and anointing of the Holy Spirit. have inside of them a spiritual house and a holy priesthood. In all these works that are also those of a common Christian man, they may offer spiritual sacrifices and proclaim the power of him who has called them out of darkness and into His great light. Therefore all the people of God who pray and praise God should be a holy and pleasing sacrifice to God. All over Earth they are called to bear witness to Christ and give an answer to those who seek and hope for the eternal life which is bestowed inside them.
Though ministerial priesthood and the common priesthood are different in essence and degree, they are not interrelated. Each of them inits own special way is a participation in one Christ's priesthoods. The ministerial priesthood uses His sacred power and authority to teach and rule the priestly by acting inside of Christ and presents the Eucharist to God for all people. So the faithful in virtue of their royal priesthood join in the offering the Eucharist, Along with these powers the priest exercises receiving the sacraments, bearing witness of the Holy life, prayers of thanksgiving, and doing charity.

Obstacles on Your Way to Faith

There are many obstacles for teenagers when it comes to matters regarding faith. Sometimes it is peer pressure and other times it is just being stupid. Obstacles for teenagers can come in many different forms such as, drinking, lying, and cheating. These temptations are often hard to resist but it is something you must resist in order to grow in holiness and come closer to God and being with him when we die and at the end of time.
Almost everything on Earth can be considered an obstacle. Places like the Church are not obstacles. They do not get in your way but instead bring you closer to God. However, unlike the Church objects such as TVs and video games are objects that interfere and cause problems for Christians.
Another way that Earth can effect humans is the Earth is open to sin and gives the humans who run the Church the ability to fail in the eyes of God. The way to be with God and meet the overall goal on Earth is to let go of the things in our way give all the glory to God. We are called to do what the apostles did for Jesus when he told them to drop their nets and follow him which is what they did and is what we should do.

The Church in the Life of the Faithful

The Church plays a very big role in the lives of the faithful. It is the way in which they pray, learn, and our forgiven for their sins. It helps in the lives of the faithful by leading them to and through lives of holiness. The Church is where the faithful gain their knowledge on Jesus, his life, his apostles, and any other information that may the followers of Christ may have.
The Church plays a major role because it is Christ on Earth. The best representation or model the Church is Christ's Mystical Body and this has Christ at the head and the Church at the body. With Christ at the head of the Church, the Church will have his power and authority throughout. Through Christ the Church is able to play a major role and lead the followers of Christ to a life of faithfulness.
