A way to grow in holiness towards God is by doing service. One organization I like to do service for is one called Challenger Baseball. In
this organization I help others and help the community by assisting kids
with disabilities so that they may play baseball. Challenger baseball goes on
at a group fields in West University and is part of West University Little
League. Kids of all ages can join Challenger and participate in the games. I participate in Challenger 6 Sundays out of the year and I really like doing it. I enjoy doing this because I have fun helping kids do something that they love which is play baseball.
This is a humorous blog. Readers should be entertained and informed by this blog. This blog is going to use everyday events and problems to be found appealing to the reader and help other teenagers with their religious problems.

Peter's Sophomore Service
This year, as sophomores, we were assigned a minimum of 15 hours of service. Much like our service last year, we were directly helping people in need. This year, the sophomore class was asked to direct their attention to helping the homeless or tutoring younger children. I chose the latter to be my focus this year. Through my mom’s cousin, who used to work at Berry Elementary, a friend and I began our work there. Berry Elementary is an HISD school located on Berry Road about 25 minutes away from Downtown. Berry Elementary is a school for very low-income families. Many of the children who go to this school are behind in their academics for the sole fact of their family and home life. The teachers at this school are good teachers who have devoted their whole lives to teaching; it is, however, difficult for the teachers to use their full potential with some of the children who attend this school.
More specifically, I was working with the 5th grade math class every other Saturday. At the Berry School, “Saturday School” did exist. It was implemented for the kids who were really struggling in their classes and needed extra help. My little time at Berry Elementary has helped me to grow into a better person. I now realize how easy I have it going to the school I go to and living in the family I live in. I appreciate more now the struggles of these underprivileged schools. Our school motto, “A Man for Others,” helped me to go into the experience with an open mind, ready to help.
